MINING TECHNOLOGY

Integrating innovative mineral production cycle

Our mining operations are the backbone of our supply chain, enabling us to deliver high-quality minerals from some of South Asia’s most resource-rich geological belts. With a portfolio spanning across Pakistan and Afghanistan, UMTC is actively engaged in both exploration and extraction of key industrial and strategic minerals. Our mining leases cover thousands of acres, supporting long-term, scalable production across diverse commodities.

  1. Chromite (Chrome Ore)
    1. Kharsin Block, North Waziristan (Pakistan)
      • Mining Lease: 500 Acres
      • A strategically located site with consistent production of metallurgical-grade chromite ore.
    2. Muslim Bagh, Balochistan (Pakistan)
      • Mining Lease: 500 Acres
      • Located in one of Asia’s richest chromite belts, this high-grade underground mining operation is known for its exceptional Cr₂O₃ content, making it a critical source for the stainless steel and refractory industries.
  1. Copper
    1. Pai-Khel Deposit, North Waziristan (Pakistan)
      • Resource Estimate: 40 million Tons (Indicated)
      • Average Grade: 0.45% Cu with Silver and Gold credits
      • UMTC is conducting exploratory drilling and resource estimation to define the commercial potential of this significant copper sulfide deposit. The project represents one of the largest untapped copper prospects in northern Pakistan and is central to our long-term growth strategy in base metals.
  1. Fluorspar (Fluorite)
    1. Bakhud Block III, Afghanistan
      • Mining Area: 50 Square Kilometers
      • A newly operational, large-scale fluorspar mine with a wide range of CaF₂ grades (30–99%), catering to both acid-grade and metallurgical-grade demand.
    2. Khuzdar, Balochistan (Pakistan)
      • Mining Lease: 500 Acres
      • This site supports consistent production of medium-to-high-grade fluorite, with significant potential for scaling up operations to meet growing global demand.
